Privacy & confidentiality
This application separates public marketplace content from private brokerage records. Vessel submissions begin private, restricted and no-circulation. A submission does not authorize SeaTrade to market, disclose, price, offer or bind a vessel.
Protected information
Owner and buyer identities, sources, broker chains, IMO where restricted, contact details, original communications, mandates, KYC, MOA, closing and payment records are not public fields.
Accounts and passkeys
SeaTrade stores your name, contact email and passkey public key. Your fingerprint, face scan, device PIN and passkey private key stay with your device or passkey provider; SeaTrade does not receive them. Contact emails are not automatically verified. Recovery codes are stored as one-way hashes; save the original codes privately when they are shown.
Public teasers
Only a specifically reviewed P0 teaser can appear publicly. The underlying private record keeps its higher confidentiality level.
Evidence and accuracy
Registry, class, inspection, ownership, availability and price labels retain their source and date. Seller-stated or database-recorded information is not represented as independently verified.
No automatic sales email is dispatched. Drafts, recipients, suppression status, disclosure scope and exact content require review before any provider send action.
Data retention
Operational records and audit history are retained only for brokerage, compliance, conflict resolution and legitimate business needs. Access is role- and record-restricted.
